Tutti Strap Updates
A Letter from the Founder
Hi, and welcome to Tutti. I'm so glad you're here.
Like many ideas worth pursuing, Tutti began with a simple question:
Why do so many musicians have to adapt to their equipment instead of equipment adapting to them?
As a professional musician and educator, I've spent countless hours rehearsing, performing, teaching, and watching musicians of all ages navigate discomfort that often gets dismissed as "just part of playing." I've seen talented performers struggle with equipment that wasn't designed for their bodies, and I've experienced firsthand how physical strain can affect confidence, endurance, and the joy of making music.
The more conversations I had with fellow musicians, the more I realized these weren't isolated experiences. Students, professionals, educators, and community musicians all shared similar stories. Everyone had found their own workaround, but very few felt that existing solutions truly fit them.
That's where Tutti began.
My mission is simple: to create ergonomic support systems that help musicians play with greater comfort, confidence, and freedom. I believe that thoughtful design can make music-making more accessible—not only for professional performers, but for students, educators, hobbyists, and anyone who deserves equipment that works with them instead of against them.
We're still at the beginning of this journey.
Right now, I'm researching, sketching, building prototypes, gathering feedback, and learning from musicians every step of the way. Some ideas will evolve. Others will be completely reimagined. That's part of creating something meaningful.
One thing won't change: musicians will be at the center of every decision I make.
By joining our community, you're becoming part of that process. You'll receive updates as Tutti grows, get an inside look at our development journey, and have opportunities to share your own experiences and help shape future designs.
Whether you've been searching for a better solution for years or simply believe musicians deserve equipment designed with greater care and inclusivity, thank you for being here.
Your support, encouragement, and feedback mean more than you know.
I'm excited to build this together.
Warmly,
Madeline Wilks
